I am a highly accomplished senior business leader and advisor with a broad strategic, marketing and financial skillset.
Ultimately I am an extremely competent manager and leader with a track record to prove this - having built one of the worlds fastest growing eCommerce retailing business.
With 23 years international experience across Europe, North America and Australia, I have lead multidisciplinary teams across marketing, sales, operations, technology and design.
From working in small dynamic startups to big multinational corporates – the one thing binding them all is commercially focused outcomes with end to end accountability for big-growth revenue targets and top notch customer experience.
I am also very good with people.
My most recent role was heading up one of the world's fastest growing companies - Cult Beauty, reporting to the CEO, and eventually board. That business made a significant exit of half a billion dollars, at which point I handed over and have since pursued my own independant consultancy.
My career history
Commencing in 2000 with an internet startup in a digital marketing role, I soon found myself wanting to broaden my horizons and moved to the UK in 2003 working for a small, early stage business, that eventually turned into one of the worlds great internet sucess stories (NET-A-PORTER.COM).
After 6 years in the UK, I moved back to Sydney where I held various management and leadership roles at Symantec and Identity Direct (a childrens personalised products retailer).
In 2011, I joined Optus as head of their digital sales business, with a P&L of $300M to be reponsible for.
In 2014 I joined 2XU as global head of Ecommerce, responsible for implementing a global ecommerce business (Australia, UK, New Zealand and the USA), new team and platform that made vast improvements, improving their online turnover and ecommerce sales distribution many multiples.
I now consult to several organisations, advising and helping them improve their online and digital presence.
Following 2XU I joined Cult Beauty at its early startup stages. Exiting at a circa AUD$500 million dollar valuation to THG in late 2021.
